MISSION
A public platform for global issues gathering opinion makers with :
SCREENING – DEBATE - COMMITMENT TO ACTION

OBJECTIVES
-Raise awareness of major social and humanitarian issues through the medium of film.
- Be inspired and expand our horizons thanks to the enlighting input of filmmakers, socially conscious artists, decision makers, international NGOs, International Organizations and governments’ representatives.
- Act thoughtfully by committing to specific projects

TRIBUTES
The individuals that we honor during the Tribunes, are people who create positive social change
and inspire us to proactively contribute to our society.

FUNDRAISING
During the Tribunes, the opinion makers, the Honorary Members and the Patron of the Institute gather together in order to raise money for a specific Cinema Verité Prize.

LOCATION
Since 2007, the Tribunes Cinema Vérité, created by documentary filmmaker Joel Soler took place in Paris.
Dominique Marzotto served as President of the Tribunes Cinema Vérité Paris in 2008 and 2009 with Xavier Thomass as Artistic director. Other cities were able to « host» the Tribunes such as Geneva, under the Presidency of Manuel de la Roche in 2008 and 2009, Monaco in 2007 an Abu Dhabi in 2008.

Each year a specific issue is chosen as major « Focus » for the edition
Focus CINEMA VERITE 2007 (MONACO- PARIS): banning landmines & Cluster bombs
Focus CINEMA VERITE 2008 (PARIS – GENEVA – ABU DHABI): Intercultural understanding
